Nah, it's cool, I'm just stoked that someone other than me is posting here :) And I can't see fancomic competitions being common enough that we'll be inundated.

As long as you don't post a bunch of updates and reminders.

Reading the rules it's not clear what you should do if you want to write and draw your own comic. (Which I may or may not be pondering, though chances are I'll never get around to it :)) Or if single panel comics are ok.
